You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using Tripp, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate. If you use the Service on behalf of others (such as fellow travelers), you represent that you are authorized to provide their information and to accept these Terms for the booking.
Tripp is an AI-powered travel assistant that helps you search, plan, and book flights and hotels. Tripp acts as your facilitator and booking agent. The airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers — made available through our booking aggregator (e.g., LiteAPI) — are the providers of the travel services and the merchant of record for those travel products. Your purchase of travel creates a contract between you and the relevant supplier, and the supplier’s own fare rules, rate terms, and conditions apply to your booking.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure, including any passkeys registered to your devices. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
Tripp uses AI to interpret your requests and generate suggestions, itineraries, prices, and other content. AI output can be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. Prices, availability, schedules, and policies come from third-party suppliers and can change at any time until a booking is confirmed. You are responsible for reviewing trip details, prices, and terms before authorizing a booking. Tripp does not provide legal, financial, tax, immigration, or medical advice.
The Service offers different modes (for example, planning options for your approval, and a booking mode where Tripp can complete an authorized trip). In all cases, a booking is only made when you authorize it — either by confirming a specific booking or by granting a spending mandate (below). When you confirm, we submit your request to the relevant supplier. A booking is not guaranteed until the supplier confirms it and issues a confirmation number; if a fare or rate becomes unavailable before confirmation, we will let you know and you can search again.
You may authorize Tripp to book and pay for travel on your behalf by granting a spending mandate. A mandate is created only when you:
A mandate sets limits and guardrails you control, which may include a maximum price per travel item (e.g., per flight leg), an overall package ceiling, and conditions such as asking you before charging, before any non-refundable booking, or before booking basic economy. Our systems enforce these limits; Tripp will not exceed them.
When a mandate executes, Tripp, as merchant of record for the autopay transaction, charges your saved payment method (via Stripe) to complete the authorized booking, and then books the travel with the supplier on your behalf. You authorize these charges in advance, up to the limits you set, and you are responsible for ensuring your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds.
You may revoke a mandate at any time through the Service. Revocation is prospective and stops future autopay actions; it does not unwind a booking that has already been completed and confirmed, which remains subject to the supplier’s cancellation and refund rules (see below).
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in the currency indicated and may include taxes and supplier fees. Some charges are collected at the time of booking, while certain amounts (for example, hotel resort fees or amounts due at the property) may be collected by the supplier separately; the price breakdown shown at checkout indicates what is due when. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the amounts you confirm or authorize, including any applicable authorization holds. You are responsible for any charges incurred under your account.
Our Refund Policy sets out in full when money comes back to you, how much, and how long it takes. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference and forms part of this agreement, and you should read it before you book. In summary:
Cancellations, changes, and refunds are governed by the fare rules and rate terms of the applicable supplier. Some bookings are non-refundable or carry change penalties, which are disclosed before you confirm. You can request a cancellation through the Service (including via chat), and we will facilitate it with the supplier; any refund is processed according to the supplier’s policy and may take time to appear. Where a charge was made under autopay, eligible refunds are returned to the payment method charged. We do not control, and are not responsible for, supplier decisions on refunds or schedule changes.
We pass on exactly what the supplier refunds. US rules require airlines to refund a flight to or from the United States cancelled within 24 hours of booking, for a departure at least 7 days later; when you cancel through the Service inside that window we ask the airline to do so. Flights booked before October 6, 2026 keep the full 24-hour refund they were sold with. Tripp charges no booking, service, or cancellation fee of its own, and a refund due to you is made within 30 days of your cancellation request or the scheduled departure date, whichever is earlier. The Refund Policy governs where this summary and it differ.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: using it for unlawful purposes or fraud; making speculative, false, or unauthorized bookings; attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours; interfering with or disrupting the Service; scraping or reverse-engineering; or using the Service to violate the rights of others or any supplier’s terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you and Tripp consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here and revise the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
